Fundraising Events Specialist

• Support planning and execution of peer-to-peer community fundraising events (Moving Day, Parkinson's Revolution) to drive revenue growth.
• Manage events during staff transitions and vacancies, ensuring consistency and success.
• Collaborate with participants, sponsors, and community partners to maximize participation and achieve revenue goals.
• Recruit new participants and create sponsorship opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, corporations, and media.

This role directly supports the Parkinson's Foundation's mission to improve care and advance research for Parkinson's disease by driving fundraising revenue that funds programs and ultimately a cure.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound judgments in a remote role.
• Excellent written, oral, and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented leader with strong organizational skills; willingness to travel ~20%.

Competitive salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience. This is a 6-month contract position with opportunity for extension. Remote work environment.
