Financial Controller

• Serve as the senior finance executive, leading all aspects of financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, treasury, grants administration, and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and advise the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee on financial strategy, liquidity, risk management, and operational planning.
• Manage federal grants and ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), including Single Audits, and prepare financial reports for donors and federal agencies.
• Oversee international financial operations, including Haiti-based operations, multi-currency accounting, and procurement oversight.

This role ensures the financial integrity and sustainability of life-saving air ambulance and humanitarian operations in Haiti and the Caribbean, directly supporting the mission to save lives in challenging environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in nonprofit financial management.
• Strong experience with federal Single Audits and Uniform Guidance compliance, U.S. GAAP, and Form 990 preparation.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; excellent communication and leadership skills.
