Role details
A 10-week summer legal fellowship researching emerging regulatory issues in AI and biotechnology to support advocacy and litigation strategy.
- Conduct research on biotechnology regulation and AI governance; analyze statutes, case law, and scientific information to inform LASST campaigns.
- Participate in strategy meetings and produce one major deliverable such as a white paper or legal research memo.
- Receive direct mentorship from experienced attorneys; attend external briefings and an in-person co-working session in New York City.
- Requires law school enrollment (2L or higher), recent J.D., or state bar membership; strong interest in biosecurity, AI safety, or tech policy preferred.
- 40-hour workweeks, $70,000 annual salary pro-rated; remote work from US or internationally with US legal credentials and work authorization.
