Role details
Strengthen disease surveillance and data use in DRC public health institutions through technical mentorship and information product development.
- Provide technical coaching to national surveillance teams on data analysis, visualization, and 7-1-7 detection-to-response timelines.
- Develop priority information products including epidemiological reports, dashboards, and risk assessments to guide public health decisions.
- Identify and resolve data governance bottlenecks across surveillance structures to improve data sharing and coordination.
- Train provincial and health zone staff in epidemiology, R programming, and data science to build analytical capacity.
- Requires Master's in epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health plus 8+ years in surveillance or health data analytics.
