Role details
Co-found a nonprofit reducing AI-enabled biological misuse risk by building governance standards and convening frontier companies.
- Share genuine leadership: make strategy and hiring decisions, pressure-test thinking, and divide work fluidly as priorities emerge.
- Convene frontier AIxBio companies and shape governance standards, best practices, and shared resources that currently don't exist.
- Own workstreams end-to-end, from conception through execution, and identify gaps in the field.
- Hire early team members and deliberately build organizational culture and values from the ground up.
- Requires senior leadership experience, deep credibility in AI, biosecurity, or technology policy, and comfort with high uncertainty.
