Role details

Regional data quality officers supporting malaria surveillance and health information systems across Ethiopian health facilities.
- Provide mentorship, training, and supportive supervision to health facilities on malaria data quality assurance, analysis, and use for decision-making.
- Design and implement malaria data quality assurance activities; develop support tools, checklists, and standard operating procedures for health workers.
- Conduct routine data quality assessments, prepare reports, and track project milestones and key performance indicators across regional levels.
- Requires bachelor's degree in health sciences; five+ years designing and managing health monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.
- Proficiency in DHIS2, ODK, Kobo-Collect, Microsoft Excel, and statistical software; extensive travel (up to 80%) required.
