Program Associate (Asia)

• Support governments in introducing and implementing lead paint regulation through policy engagement and technical assistance.
• Engage with paint manufacturers to encourage phase-out of lead-based paints and identify non-lead alternatives.
• Conduct paint studies, including purchasing paints, preparing samples, and coordinating with labs, to generate country-specific data.
• Prepare advocacy communications, educational resources, and study reports to support program goals.

This role directly contributes to eliminating childhood lead poisoning in Asia, preventing lead exposure for hundreds of thousands of children through policy change, industry engagement, and data-driven advocacy.

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with ability to understand diverse perspectives and collaborate towards shared goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort with educating and persuading stakeholders on new topics.
• Highly versatile, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks across different contexts; project management experience is advantageous.
• Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Mandarin, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, or Malay is a plus.

Salary is dependent on location and experience (e.g., Rp616,452,824–Rp703,738,180 IDR for Jakarta; ฿1,339,001–฿1,528,594 THB for Bangkok; $64,291–$73,394 SGD for Singapore).
