Public Health Response Manager

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with state and local public-health partners to ensure SecureBio communications are credible and useful.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with public-health agencies and networks, and maintain crisis communication templates.
• Translate technical findings from Genomic Biosecurity Scientists into clear, actionable information for public-health partners.
• Lead aspects of the response process when concerning signals are detected, from initial assessment through resolution.

This role ensures that SecureBio's early warning system translates into effective public health responses, potentially preventing catastrophic pandemics and saving lives.

• 7+ years of experience in public health or interacting closely with state/local health officials.
• Existing peer relationships with public health officials and demonstrated credibility with decisionmakers.
• Demonstrated experience with biological incident response or infectious disease outbreak investigation.
• Strong understanding of US public health infrastructure; advanced degree in public health or related field.
