Director of Venture Building, Export Manufacturing

Build export manufacturing companies across Africa to create formal factory jobs and increase worker incomes at scale.
- Run ventures end-to-end: identify opportunities, recruit founders, build companies, structure investments, and support scaling.
- Assess sectors and geographies for export manufacturing potential by engaging buyers, operators, and market participants on the ground.
- Manage venture-builders, review deal structures and cost-effectiveness analyses, and maintain quality and pace across the portfolio.
- Requires founding or senior operating experience in manufacturing, ideally export-oriented, with direct responsibility for outcomes.
- Requires 8+ years experience, strong Africa background, and comfort moving fast with minimal bureaucracy in a small team.
