Role details
Six-month remote consultancy providing rigorous macroeconomic analysis and policy advice to support African economic transformation and sustainable development.
- Monitor global economic developments and conduct rapid assessments of headline events affecting African economies.
- Prepare knowledge products, policy briefs, and technical notes for African policymakers and multilateral institutions.
- Support integration of climate-related macroeconomic risks and green financing into ECA's economic analysis.
- Master's degree in Economics or Finance plus 7+ years in macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, and development policy.
- Substantial experience with multilateral financial institutions and demonstrated work history in Africa required.
