Role details
Advise on social and behavioral science integration in diagnostic validation studies for Ebola, ensuring community perspectives and implementation realities inform study design and product introduction.
- Design and implement qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research activities; develop protocols, discussion guides, and survey instruments for diagnostic studies.
- Assess user needs, perceptions, and behavioral factors among healthcare workers, patients, and communities to identify barriers and facilitators to diagnostic uptake.
- Collaborate with community organizations and health authorities to ensure informed consent, community engagement, and ethical research practices throughout study execution.
- Requires advanced degree in social/behavioral sciences, public health, or implementation science plus 5+ years designing global health research or community engagement activities.
- Requires professional working proficiency in French and English; experience in outbreak response or Ebola response strongly preferred.
