Water and Sanitation Manager

• Plan, implement, and monitor water, hygiene, and sanitation (WatSan) activities in MSF projects to prevent and control waterborne diseases.
• Design, construct, and manage water supply, excreta disposal, waste management, hygiene promotion, and vector control systems.
• Conduct WatSan assessments, contribute to emergency preparedness, and ensure integration with medical teams.
• Train and supervise locally hired WatSan staff, manage budgets, and oversee inventory of materials.

This role directly reduces disease transmission and saves lives by ensuring safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in humanitarian crises, refugee camps, and healthcare facilities.

• At least two years of hands-on experience in water, hygiene, vector control, or sanitation projects in emergency or development contexts.
• Experience in training, coaching, and supervising staff.
• Proficiency in English and at least one of French/Arabic (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work in unstable, insecure environments and cope with stress.
