WASH in Emergencies Specialist - Roster Recruitment

• Lead or support rapid WASH needs assessments, technical assessments, and response design in emergencies.
• Provide technical oversight for water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion interventions.
• Coordinate with clusters, government, UN agencies, and partners to ensure integrated and accountable WASH responses.
• Contribute to proposal development, reporting, and resource mobilization for emergency WASH programs.

This role ensures that vulnerable populations, especially girls and women, have access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene during emergencies, reducing disease risks and promoting dignity and equality.

• Progressively responsible experience in WASH programming in humanitarian or emergency settings.
• Proven technical experience in emergency water supply, water treatment, sanitation, and hygiene promotion.
• Strong knowledge of Sphere Standards, Core Humanitarian Standard, and WASH Cluster guidance.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish; French, Arabic, or Portuguese desirable.
