Director of Development

• Lead and implement FCDR's development strategy and annual fundraising plan.
• Manage donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up.
• Build and manage major donor and prospect pipelines, and strengthen church, corporate, foundation, and community partnerships.
• Support campaign fundraising efforts related to the ROOTS Community Land Trust initiative and help implement CRM and donor tracking systems.

This role directly supports families recovering from disaster by securing the resources needed to rebuild homes and restore communities, creating lasting positive change in the hardest moments of their lives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, sales, partnership development, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated relationship-building and communication skills.
• Mature Christian faith and alignment with FCDR's Christian mission and values.

Position is remote. Residency in Western North Carolina or Atlantic or Gulf Coast state desirable. Compensation details not specified.
