Remote Voluntary Internship in Research, Communication, and Humanitarian Knowledge Management

• Support the development of the Humanitarian Library by curating resource channels and collections.
• Assist in communication and coordination, including drafting proposals, developing presentations, and managing social media.
• Conduct research, literature reviews, and data analysis for projects.
• Contribute to drafting reports, policy briefs, and other documents.

This role supports Shelter Centre's mission to provide shelter to populations affected by conflict and natural disasters by enhancing knowledge management, communication, and research capacity, thereby strengthening the humanitarian community's response.

• Demonstrable commitment to humanitarian action and desire to build a career in the sector.
• University degree involving structured research (e.g., Social Sciences, International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Communication, Media Studies).
• Strong organizational skills with experience in project management and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 proficiency) and solid computer literacy including Microsoft Office.

Volunteers and interns receive personal development opportunities, including individualized mentoring, career guidance, a recommendation letter upon successful completion, networking with professionals, and a team-led professional development program. The position is virtual, with a commitment of 6 months (minimum 4 months), full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week).
