Program Support & Development Officer

• Develop and draft project proposals for major Italian and international donors (ECHO, INTPA, AICS, US and European government agencies) in both development and emergency contexts.
• Oversee the entire project design process: developing project concepts, defining logical frameworks, drafting texts, preparing budgets, establishing monitoring plans, and finalizing documents per donor guidelines.
• Conduct field missions abroad for needs assessments and project design, and support the setup and supervision of strategic ongoing projects.
• Prepare formal documentation for proposals and contribute to intermediate and final narrative reports.

This role directly contributes to CESVI's mission of supporting vulnerable populations by securing funding and designing high-quality projects that address poverty, emergencies, and environmental challenges, thereby enabling sustainable development and human rights protection.

• Bachelor's degree with training/specialization in Project Cycle Management (PCM).
• At least 3 years of experience in designing multisectoral international cooperation projects (emergency and development).
• In-depth knowledge of proposal writing methodologies (PCM, Logical Framework, Theory of Change) and all phases of project design and cycle management.
• Proven experience with major institutional donors (ECHO, INTPA, AICS, US/European agencies); excellent command of Italian and English; strong budget development skills; availability to travel.

Contract duration: 6 months, renewable. Salary range: €2,300 - €2,500 gross per month. Insurance coverage.
