Job description
Volunteer board governance role for an early-stage farmed fish welfare charity operating in Southeast Asia.
- Hold co-founders accountable to organizational KPIs and strategy; provide input on financial performance and high-level planning.
- Review annual budgets, strategic decisions, and organizational performance at quarterly online board meetings.
- Treasurer role includes supporting US 501(c)(3) registration, bank account setup, and compliance filing review.
- Requires nonprofit governance experience or strong operations/financial-planning background from any sector.
- 4–6 hours per quarter commitment; two-year initial term; voluntary role with expense reimbursement.
