Senior Systems Engineer

• Write sub-system and component level requirements derived from system requirements with tracing.
• Produce interface specifications, system and subsystem architectures, and hardware design specifications.
• Manage procurement of hardware and software, and design rollout strategies for rail dispatch environments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards such as Cenelec EN 50128 and Hitachi Rail standards.

This role contributes to the development of advanced Traffic Management Systems that improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of rail transportation, reducing environmental impact and enhancing public transit.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer, software architect, business analyst, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience with UML/SysML or other design modeling.
• Experience writing software requirements and producing detailed documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer systems engineering, railway engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
