What you will drive

  • Champion design through mechanical engineering, guiding the team through complex tradeoffs to protect the product vision.
  • Bridge design intent and engineering execution, ensuring cosmetic and ergonomic vision while driving structural viability.
  • Own physical vehicle architecture, managing micro-tolerance loops and high-density component integration.
  • Drive advanced CAD and surfacing, leading development of Class-A surfaces and digital master models.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 5–10+ years of experience as a Product Design Engineer, Studio Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer working with Industrial Design teams.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex physical architecture layout and high-volume production experience.
  • Exceptional proficiency in advanced 3D surfacing using Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
  • Deep knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mass-production techniques (injection molding, stamping, casting).
