Senior Research Manager or Research Director

Lead research management and execution for an education technology program expanding across Tanzania, measuring learning outcomes and supporting government evidence needs.
- Oversee multi-method research portfolio including learning assessments, surveys, and implementation studies; manage contracts, budgets, and timelines with in-country research partners.
- Coordinate research activities with Tanzania country team and government stakeholders; liaise on findings and evidence needs to support program engagement.
- Design and contribute quantitative and/or qualitative research expertise to studies; analyze findings and translate insights into program improvement recommendations.
- Master's degree plus 5+ years managing research projects in education, public policy, or related field; PhD and publication record required for Research Director level.
- Strong project management, data analysis (Excel or similar), writing, and cross-cultural communication skills essential; research in school settings preferred.
