Senior Manager, People Operations

Lead global payroll, people data, and employee lifecycle operations for a distributed workforce across 20+ countries.
- Manage a team of three to own end-to-end payroll delivery, HRIS data quality, ticketing systems, and employee onboarding/offboarding across multiple entities and employer of record arrangements.
- Execute annual compensation cycles, benefits administration, and mobility transactions; produce analysis supporting salary benchmarking and equity audits.
- Define operating models, service standards, and escalation paths; serve as first point of contact for country HR teams on payroll, data, and lifecycle matters.
- Requires 6+ years in people operations or global payroll with 2+ years managing a team; direct multi-country payroll experience including Sub-Saharan Africa preferred.
- Requires systems mindset, multi-jurisdiction employment knowledge, strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, and alignment with GiveDirectly values.
