Senior Engineer, Data Engineering

Core responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert in data engineering and Google Cloud data technologies
• Design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using Google Cloud technologies for utility clients
• Build and deliver data solutions using Google Cloud products and offerings
• Build and scale real-time and batch data pipelines with exposure to pub/sub, composer and Airflow

This role helps utility clients realize the potential of big data and artificial intelligence to optimize energy usage, supporting decarbonization and grid modernization for a smarter, more sustainable energy future.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Google Data Products (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, AI Building Blocks, Looker, etc.)
• Experience in MDM, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lineage tools
• E2E Data Engineering and Lifecycle management including non-functional requirements and operations
• Minimum 3+ years experience as Data Engineer with total 4-6 years work experience required
