Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead all site-based activities during construction, installation, testing and commissioning of major energy infrastructure projects.
  • Plan and coordinate site delivery, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
  • Act as Hitachi Energy's senior site representative, building relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive a strong health, safety and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practices.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities; knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multiple stakeholders; willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
