Full Stack Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain end-to-end features across backend APIs, data pipelines, AI agents, and interactive frontends
• Lead workstreams end-to-end, including gathering product requirements, proposing solution architectures, developing an implementation plan, managing technical dependencies, and coordinating rollout plans
• Collaborate directly with users and customer-facing teammates to gather feedback and understand their needs, translating insights into design solutions
• Build and maintain data-rich, interactive frontend applications

Piq Energy accelerates the energy transition by automating power grid simulation and analysis, helping developers connect renewable energy assets to the grid faster and more safely.

• 3+ years of software engineering industry experience delivering high-quality software
• Deep experience in building data-intensive backend systems with Python or similar, or developing interactive data-rich frontend applications with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience owning successful software delivery end-to-end
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a bias towards action

Competitive salary and equity compensation. Base salary $150k-$250k plus equity for SF-based employees. Remote-friendly with hubs in San Francisco and Athens. In-person collaboration 2-3 days per week in SF. Team on-sites 2-3 times per year.
