Role details
Lead integrated communications strategies for a farmed animal protection nonprofit across the U.S. and Canada.
- Oversee public relations, social media, and rapid-response communications; manage four direct reports across PR and social teams.
- Develop press releases, op-eds, talking points, and social content; serve as organizational spokesperson for media.
- Partner with CEO office, fundraising, investigations, and corporate teams to amplify campaigns and organizational visibility.
- Requires 5–7 years in communications, public relations, or advocacy; demonstrated experience managing integrated campaigns and media relationships.
- Proficiency with Muck Rack, Meltwater, Asana, Slack, and Sprout Social; willingness to travel 1–3 times annually.
