Principal Regulatory Affairs Manager

Oversee regulatory monitoring and FOIA initiatives to advance animal protection through federal and state agency engagement.
- Monitor Federal Register and agency rulemaking; analyze regulations relevant to animal protection priorities.
- Prepare regulatory comments, petitions, and administrative advocacy submissions supporting litigation and legislative goals.
- Conduct data collection and analysis on regulated animal-use industries; review FOIA and public records for trends.
- Requires JD, DVM, PhD in animal-related field, or advanced degree plus 5+ years regulatory affairs or administrative law experience.
- Requires strong Excel and database skills, knowledge of federal administrative law, and commitment to animal protection mission.
