Policy & Advocacy Senior Officer Palestine (based in Jordan)

• Analyze the humanitarian environment and define HI positions on the Palestinian crisis.
• Develop and update advocacy strategies and action plans at national, regional, and international levels.
• Ensure advocacy is based on reliable evidence and data, and organize effective influence and outreach to key decision-makers and networks.
• Contribute to internal communication, fundraising, and emergency preparedness actions.

This role ensures that the voices of vulnerable populations, including people with disabilities, are heard in humanitarian and policy discussions, influencing decision-makers to uphold international law and protect civilians in Palestine.

• Degree in International Law, International Relations, Political Science, or equivalent, with significant experience.
• 5 years of experience including 3 years in emergency settings (field experience).
• Experience in context analysis, policy development, advocacy work, and networking at high levels.
• Fluent knowledge of Arabic is preferred.

7-month international contract starting ASAP. Salary from 2757€ gross/month upon experience. Perdiem: 640€ net/month (Amman) or 887€ (Gaza). Hardship allowance: 500€ net/month (Gaza only). Paid leaves: 25 days per year. R&R: 1 day/month (Amman) or specific (Gaza). Housing: collective taken in charge by HI. Social cover includes unemployment insurance (EU nationals), pension, medical coverage (50% employee contribution), and repatriation insurance.
