Part-Time Local State Canvasser

• Engage community members through door-to-door and high-foot-traffic outreach to generate 25 signups per canvasser.
• Deliver clear messaging on housing affordability, rent increases, lease challenges, and assistance programs.
• Collect contact information and enter data into tracking system accurately and promptly.
• Proactively engage communities, answer basic questions, and escalate complex inquiries to supervisors.

This role helps connect community members with vital housing resources and support, addressing affordability and housing challenges in the Hudson Valley region.

• Comfortable with door-to-door and public-space outreach.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Basic smartphone skills; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Pay: $22/hour. Hours: 15-20 hours per week. Duration: June 2026 - August 2026. Travel reimbursement within assigned area. Meals provided/reimbursed at specified events. Full training provided.
