Mission
What you will drive
- Manage financial review, accounting, and reporting for assigned grants, including federal grants subject to Single Audit requirements.
- Maintain NMTC fund-related accounting records in accordance with GAAP and fund accounting standards.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly close activities, including restricted fund reconciliations and reporting.
- Support cross-functional projects related to financial technology implementation, workflow redesign, and continuous improvement.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Seven (7) years of progressive professional experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated experience with nonprofit GAAP, restricted fund accounting, cost allocation, and audit support.
- Working knowledge of federal grant compliance and reporting requirements.

Salary range: $129,400 - $143,800. US-based remote role with preference for candidates near NFF offices (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Oakland, Los Angeles). Core business hours 9 am to 5 pm local time. Occasional travel (20%) required.
