Senior Brownfields Revitalization Advisor

• Oversee and support key deliverables in CCLR's DTSC workplan, including developing Brownfield Inventories for 2-4 grantees or communities.
• Develop and execute 3-5 Brownfield Accelerator Roundtables by June 2027 to help communities overcome barriers to brownfield redevelopment.
• Facilitate developer matchmaking and site marketing, including crafting RFEIs/RFPs and connecting property owners with developers.
• Work with DTSC to identify content and develop webinars, and collect/report program metrics for ROI analysis.

This role directly supports the equitable and sustainable reuse of contaminated properties, transforming blighted sites into community assets like housing and open space, thereby improving environmental health and economic vitality in underserved communities.

• Bachelor's degree in urban design, planning, landscape architecture, science, or engineering field.
• Minimum of twelve years of experience in land reuse, environmental planning, or brownfield redevelopment with public and private stakeholders.
• Robust network of senior land reuse practitioners in California.
• Project management and personnel supervisory experience; proficiency with Microsoft Suite, GSuite, Zoom, and other tools; Salesforce and ArcGIS a plus.

Pay range: $46.86 - $59.21 per hour (non-exempt, eligible for overtime). Benefits include paid sick leave, internet/cell phone stipend of $50/month, employer-provided laptop, and all statutorily required benefits. Remote work with travel (~35%).
