Organizing Coordinator

• Oversee NLRB elections, state employee elections, and develop campaign strategies.
• Mentor and develop organizers by providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
• Build and develop effective organizing teams by identifying, recruiting, and cultivating workplace leaders.
• Partner with organizers to establish campaign goals, metrics, and data-driven strategies.

This role strengthens the AAUP's ability to organize higher education workers, defending academic freedom and advancing fair wages, job security, and collective bargaining rights, thereby empowering faculty and staff in the face of partisan attacks.

• 12+ years of union organizing experience, including at least 5 years leading successful campaigns.
• Experience leading campaigns involving bargaining units of 500+ workers.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and developing organizers.
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and meeting management skills.

Salary range: $90,356.70 to $121,608.22. Generous benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; paid sick days; paid vacation days; and 401(K).
