Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide finance management support and serve as key point of contact for 10+ nonprofit client accounts, building trusted relationships with executives and board members.
  • Prepare monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements, conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead annual budgeting, multi-year financial projections, cash flow forecasting, and scenario planning to help clients navigate financial uncertainties.
  • Manage grant compliance, restricted fund tracking, payroll allocation, and coordinate with external auditors to ensure audit readiness.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 2–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with at least 3 years in nonprofit finance, including 990 preparation, audits, FASB/GAAP, and restricted funds management.
  • Advanced QuickBooks skills (ProAdvisor Certified preferred) and proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, and tools like QuickBooks Online, SaasAnt, Expensify, Slack, Gusto.
  • Exceptional client service skills with ability to manage 10+ clients and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex financial data for diverse audiences, plus organizational and project management abilities.

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 (USD).
