Medical Doctor – Infectious Diseases (VHF experience) – Register

• Support outbreak preparedness, investigation and response activities, including case management, infection prevention and control, disease surveillance, outbreak investigations, contact tracing, and epidemiological analysis.
• Provide technical support to local health authorities and healthcare teams in humanitarian contexts.

This role directly contributes to saving lives and controlling outbreaks of infectious diseases like Ebola in humanitarian crises, strengthening global health security.

• Fully licensed medical doctor specializing in infectious diseases.
• Experience working in infectious diseases and outbreak settings, ideally within humanitarian, low-resource or emergency response environments.
• Available to travel and work internationally at short notice for deployments typically around 6 weeks.
• French language skills are an advantage.

GBP £4750 – £5250 gross per month (dependant on experience and deployment context, with up to 20% additional allowance for adverse conditions). Register role with no guarantee of work; deployed on fixed-term contracts.
