Manager, Databases & IT

Core responsibilities:

• Work closely with department leaders to define database requirements and implement strategic solutions for Development, Programs, MarComm, and Operations using Salesforce and other databases
• Edit and customize the Salesforce environment to support automations, provide training, maintain availability and performance, ensure data accuracy, and support 3rd-party integrations
• Lead the technical committee through monthly meetings to implement key strategic goals for IT and support general IT software system configuration
• Coordinate rollout and maintenance of project management and digital asset management systems, and provide weekly drop-in office-hours for staff IT support

This role supports Active Minds' mission to transform mental health norms across society by ensuring their technology systems effectively support fundraising, programs, and operations that equip youth mental health advocates and foster lasting change in how mental health is viewed and discussed.

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator (Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred, experience with NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud a plus)
• Experience working with database-like file systems (CSVs, spreadsheets) with fluency in Google Sheets/Excel including Boolean logic, VLOOKUP, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Database Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes, facilitate user adoption, create technical documentation, and drive projects to completion
• Experience using modern project management systems (ClickUp, Monday.com, Jira, etc.) and SOQL/SQL/database programming language fluency highly preferred

Initial salary of $68,250 with potential to grow to $96,600 over time. Robust benefits include:
