Mission
What you will drive
- Build and manage a portfolio of 75–100 major gift prospects, focusing on five- and six-figure gifts, with select seven-figure opportunities.
- Develop and execute tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies, conducting regular donor meetings (virtual and in-person) to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Position the TRF Institute as a core philanthropic opportunity, translating complex research into compelling narratives for donor conversations and proposals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and advisors to shape major gifts strategy and support solicitations.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in major gifts fundraising, preferably within a nonprofit, research, healthcare, or mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and closing five- and six-figure gifts; experience with seven-figure gifts is a strong plus.
- Strong relationship-builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with senior leaders, board members, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial organization; experience establishing a development department is a plus.
