Mission
What you will drive
- Identify and cultivate early-stage investment opportunities across the Northwest Arkansas ecosystem, building and maintaining an organized pipeline aligned with Village Capital's impact thesis.
- Lead financial analysis, due diligence, and investment structuring for revenue-based financing (redeemable equity and revenue-based debt) to early-stage companies.
- Manage end-to-end deal execution from sourcing through close, coordinating with internal teams and external legal counsel.
- Serve as Village Capital's on-the-ground presence in NWA, engaging with ecosystem partners, investors, and portfolio companies.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 3 to 7 years of experience at a CDFI, bank, investment organization, or accelerator within Arkansas, with direct exposure to early-stage companies and financing decisions.
- Experience analyzing financial statements and building financial projections; comfort with P&L modeling, unit economics, and early-stage valuation approaches.
- Familiarity with alternative financing structures (redeemable equity and revenue-share debt) and ability to match instruments to business models.
- Established presence in the NWA entrepreneurial ecosystem or demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly; proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling.
