Knowledge Management Specialist

• Build and maintain knowledge management systems on SharePoint and Teams, including filing structures, version control, and access permissions.
• Develop an AI-enabled knowledge hub, using AI tools for tagging, indexing, search, and synthesis, with quality control and data sensitivity rules.
• Analyze knowledge products to identify lessons learned and translate findings into multi-format communications for different audiences.
• Facilitate communities of practice and learning events, and coordinate with country office DMEAL staff.
• Manage the reporting calendar, quality-assure reports against donor and organizational standards, and consolidate multi-country reports.

This role ensures that ForAfrika's knowledge is systematically captured, shared, and applied, enhancing program effectiveness and accountability to communities and donors, ultimately contributing to the organization's goal of empowering 20 million Africans to be self-sufficient.

• Master's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Development Studies, Communications, or related field (bachelor's with equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum 6 years of combined experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, and/or report writing in humanitarian or development programs.
• Demonstrated experience with SharePoint, Teams, and document management systems; experience using AI tools for content organization.
• Strong writing, synthesis, and facilitation skills; ability to adapt technical content for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with donor reporting requirements (USAID, EU, UN, FCDO, GAC) and data analysis/visualization.
