Head of Engineering, Red Team

Lead engineering for FAR.AI's frontier AI red-teaming program, building scalable systems and teams to test and improve safeguards of advanced AI models.
- Build red-teaming tools, agentic systems, and evaluation infrastructure to accelerate vulnerability discovery and testing at scale.
- Manage and grow an elite engineering team, setting priorities, mentoring ICs, and hiring managers to support high-velocity engagements.
- Partner with frontier AI labs and governments on pre-deployment testing, translating findings into products and research that raise global safety standards.
- Requires strong software engineering background plus proven experience building and leading technical teams in fast-moving environments.
- Experience with Python, LLM APIs, coding agents, cloud infrastructure, or AI security is valuable; AI safety mission alignment essential.
