Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide global technical leadership and strategic direction for Orbis International's gender-responsive and gender-transformative programming across all countries and project portfolios.
  • Drive and update Orbis's Global Gender Transformative Programming Strategy, ensuring gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) are systematically integrated into program design, implementation, MEL, partnerships, and fundraising.
  • Lead Orbis's flagship Women Leaders in Eye Health (WLEH) initiative and advance gender equality, women's leadership, and social inclusion across all programs.

What makes you a great fit

  • Expertise in gender equality, social inclusion, and gender-transformative approaches, preferably in global health or international development.
  • Experience providing global technical leadership and strategic direction for gender programming across multiple countries.
  • Strong skills in program design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) with a gender lens.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with country teams, regional and global leadership, and external partners.
