Job description
Lead a research-focused animal protection organization as Executive Director, managing strategy, fundraising, and a small team.
- Serve as chief fundraiser and external ambassador, cultivating major donor relationships and representing Faunalytics at conferences and movement convenings.
- Lead strategic planning, oversee research agenda in partnership with Research Director, and monitor organizational impact and progress.
- Directly supervise four senior staff members and foster a culture of learning, evidence-based decision-making, and sustainable work practices.
- Requires 5+ years in animal advocacy, proven major gift fundraising experience at $1M+ level, and financial acumen for $1.5M budget oversight.
- Requires demonstrated leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and willingness to travel nationally or internationally 4–5 times annually.
