Executive Director

• Provide daily management of the organization with a small staff, ensuring operational continuity and financial oversight.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including pharmaceutical partners, clinicians, patients, and peer organizations.
• Prioritize fundraising to grow programming and services for the community.
• Oversee and report on the organization's activities for the board of directors, and lead annual budget evaluation and development.

This role directly improves the quality of life for individuals and families affected by inheritable bleeding disorders in Illinois by ensuring they have access to unbiased information, resources, education, advocacy, and community support.

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-7+ years of leadership experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Proven successful experience in fundraising, budgeting, and organizational management.
• Experience working with boards, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Salary: $90,000+ per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid vacation days, paid sick days, stipend for health insurance, and possible stipend/reimbursement for remote work expenses including technology expenses.
