Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead and advise on localization implementation across humanitarian agencies and coordination structures.
  • Facilitate collaboration between local and national NGOs, international NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and donors.
  • Mentor and support local organisations in accessing coordination mechanisms, operational platforms, and decision‑making spaces.
  • Identify barriers to effective localization and support practical solutions.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years specific experience with localization in humanitarian assistance.
  • Minimum 2 years international humanitarian field experience with exposure to the localization agenda.
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory) and preferably a second UN language (e.g., French).
