Role details
Lead immunization system strengthening efforts across priority African and South Asian countries, managing a team and coordinating with multiple foundation programs.
- Manage a sub-team of program officers focused on routine immunization, coverage, and reaching missed communities in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Pakistan, and India.
- Develop country-specific investment portfolios and synchronized plans with Polio, Africa, and other health teams to align immunization strategies.
- Oversee foundation grants and contracts with external partners; conduct site visits, monitor progress, and manage grantee relationships for impact.
- Hire, develop, and hold team accountable; establish inclusive culture, set priorities, and report results to foundation leadership and stakeholders.
- Requires 15+ years in public health, epidemiology, or related field; direct experience in two or more priority countries and team leadership essential.
