Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead all programs implemented in the country program, including overall coordination, strategic direction, and supervisory management of staff, programming, and operations.
  • Develop and execute strategies for strong representation with government ministries, donors, UN agencies, and other stakeholders, and seek opportunities to raise IRC's profile.
  • Ensure quality programming through rigorous assessment, design, monitoring & evaluation, and partner capacity strengthening, while driving operational excellence and financial stewardship.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least 12 years of dynamically responsible international work experience, including leadership at the Country Director level of multi-site, multi-sectoral operations in a complex operating environment.
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of Arabic, Spanish, and/or French strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing security in a complex and rapidly changing security context, and confirmed ability to negotiate and work with partner organizations.
