Communications Volunteer - Violence Prevention & Gender Justice

Core responsibilities:

• Support in developing the planning of our external communications
• Develop engaging content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
• Support the design and delivery of creative communications campaigns to raise awareness and visibility
• Contribute to the development of a communications strategy for EmpowerVan

This role helps shape and share EmpowerVan's story through communications content that highlights impact, strengthens presence, and supports the mission of gender justice and empowerment for women and girls.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing
• Strong storytelling, writing, and visual communication skills
• Proficiency in social media management and basic graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
• Excellent command of English is a must
