Development & Donor Outreach Coordinator

• Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors, focusing on the Bay Area market, and support the Senior Manager and Executive Director in donor relationship management.
• Draft high-quality donor communications including emails, letters, reports, and meeting debriefs.
• Support donor committee management, auction item recruitment, and gala event logistics.
• Maintain accurate donor records in CRM, track outreach activity and pipeline progress, and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and personalization.

This role directly supports the financial sustainability of Mercado Global, enabling Indigenous women artisans in Latin America to earn critical income, keep their children in school, and take on leadership roles in their communities.

• Demonstrated experience in donor stewardship with strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of raising funds or supporting donor portfolios.
• Exceptional written communication skills and comfort with AI tools (Gemini, Claude, or similar).
• Fluency in English required; Spanish strongly preferred. Self-starter with strong initiative and attention to detail.
