Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide oversight and leadership to Plan International's child protection response in specific crises.
  • Conduct assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, capacity strengthening, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of child protection in emergency programmes.
  • Ensure gender equality is core to child protection in emergencies response and that interventions meet child protection and gender-based violence minimum standards.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Solid work experience in international humanitarian settings with progressively responsible roles in designing, leading and/or coordinating Child Protection in Humanitarian Action programme responses.
  • Expertise in working with child survivors of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language: French, Spanish or Arabic (Level B2 minimum).
  • Commitment to ensuring safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH).
