Chief People Officer

• Set and drive a global people agenda that enables Save the Children International to achieve its mission and long-term ambitions.
• Lead the transformation of Global People Services, stabilizing core operations, strengthening HR systems and workforce data, and building a modern, employee-centered People Services model.
• Strengthen leadership and talent pipelines, embed a high-performing and values-led culture, and enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion across the organization.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board on people, culture, and organizational effectiveness matters.

This role ensures Save the Children International has the talent, culture, and organizational capability to maximize its impact for children, enabling the organization to deliver its mission of ensuring children survive, learn, and are protected across 90 countries.

• Significant senior HR or people leadership experience within a complex international organization.
• Strong track record of leading large-scale HR transformation and organizational change, including rebuilding or modernizing people operations, HR shared services, and enterprise HRIS platforms (ideally Oracle).
• Influential and collaborative leader comfortable operating across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups, with credibility and resilience in complex, high-pressure environments.
• Experience within federated, matrixed, or international NGO environments advantageous; private sector candidates with relevant global transformation expertise also encouraged.
