Chief Operating Officer

• Lead internal operations and people systems to support Data for Progress's work across its 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities.
• Oversee organizational operations, capacity planning, labor relations, and financial management to ensure effective day-to-day functioning.
• Manage relationships with administrative vendors and lead key internal management processes.

This role strengthens Data for Progress's ability to deliver impactful research and advance progressive change by building the internal systems, structure, and support that make ambitious, high-impact work possible.

• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit operations, people operations, administration, HR, finance, compliance, or labor relations.
• Experience building or improving internal systems in a mission-driven organization.
• Strong judgment on personnel matters and excellent project management skills.
• Experience in a unionized workplace or supporting labor relations.
