Chief of Staff, Contest Every Race

• Own CER's operating cadence including quarterly planning, retreats, all-hands meetings, and performance reviews.
• Track internal and external deadlines, surface risks, and ensure key decisions are documented and communicated across teams.
• Partner with the Development team to turn program ideas into polished proposals and track donor commitments.

This role ensures that Contest Every Race operates efficiently, enabling the organization to recruit and support Democratic candidates and build durable political power from the ground up, making Democrats competitive everywhere.

• 5-7 years of work experience with 4+ years supporting senior leaders in political campaigns, organizing, nonprofit operations, or government.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clearly in someone else's voice.
• Strong operational instincts and ability to manage multiple fast-moving work streams.
• Fluency with Google Suite and donor/constituent CRM tools (EveryAction, NGP, or equivalent).

Annual salary of $100,000-$110,000 (level 5) based on experience, with a geographic COLA. Includes a $700/month work-life stipend during high-intensity periods, excellent health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and unlimited PTO (with restrictions during Election Sprint). Remote-first culture.
